Extended Widescreen Support

Provides extended computer video resolutions in the 4:3, 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios to a Channel Player. All Channel Players ship with support for the onboard video chipsets. Most plasma displays and LCD's support resolutions and refresh rates that far exceed the performance of these chipsets. If you need a broader range of resolutions, refresh rates or intend to rotate your displays to the portrait mode, you should purchase this option.

Resolution limits of the onboard chipsets - 1280x1024 (5:4), 640x480 (4:3), 800x600 (4:3), 1024x768(4:3),1152x864 (4:3),1280x960 (4:3),1400x1050 (4:3),1600x1200 (4:3),1856x1392 (4:3),1920x1440 (4:3),2048x1536 (4:3),1920x1200 (16:10),1280x768 (5:3),1280x720 (16:9),1600x900 (16:9),1920x1080 (16:9),1280x600 (17:8).
